Studio Information 2011Weekly Dance Class/ MONTHLY TUITION RATES 30 minutes $25.00/month 45 minutes $30.00/month 60 minutes $35.00/month $50.00/month per couple (Ballroom) 90 minutes $60.00/month Unlimited dance $100.00/month Piano or Voice $80.00/month one half hour weekly/please pay Kasey 10% discount will be given for two family members on total dance tuition. 20% on 3 or more family members or $160 for 4 or more family members unlimited. One person/child may take unlimited classes for $100/month.
July: Registration Tuesday, July 26th, 2011 from 4:00 - 8:00
Registration Fee is $20 per family. All students must fill out a registration card and pay a non-refundable registration fee of $20 per family which is due upon registration.
Recital Fee is $35 per family, due in April.
Recital Costumes will be between $50 and up per costume/XL costumes are an additional $5 to $10. $30 deposit due in October per costume. Costumes cannot be ordered if not paid in full by the end of November.
Tuition: Tuition will be due on the 5th of the month and will be considered late after the 10th. A 10% late fee will be added after the 10th of the month. Continued tuition delinquency will also result in the loss of a student's class space. Returned check charge is $25 per check. After two returned checks, we will no longer accept a check for payment. Tuition will balance to 4 week months. Closed: We will be closed the weeks and days designated above. We will be closed the week of Fall Break and the week of Spring Break. We may also close due to inclement weather, please call the studio after lunch and there will be a message if classes are cancelled! Placement: Students will be placed with respect to their age, potential, and proficiency by the director and teacher of the school. Please respect their opinions. Regular attendance is essential for your child's progress in dance. If your child must miss class, please ask her/his teacher or Ms. LeEllen for information on a make-up class for that week. Dancewear: All students must wear appropriate dancewear and shoes for the classes you are taking. If you are unsure, ask your teacher. Also no jewelry and hair needs to be pulled back. There will be a dance uniform for all of Melissa Rowell's Ballet students. Hair must be pulled back in a bun, solid color leotard, tights, & skirt. Please do not leave your child unattended when they are not in class. We do not have anyone outside the classroom to care for unattended children. Also, please accompany children in and out of the studio for their safety, due to the heavy traffic and town creek, which is immediately behind the studio. Please use the side door to enter and leave. All students are required to arrive in time for their class, and while on the premises of the studio, conduct themselves in an orderly fashion. No one is allowed in the dance rooms unless a teacher is present. Please put student's name in all shoes and clothing that is used at the studio. All students need a dance bag to hold their dance shoes and belongings. Please check bags on a regular basis to make sure all of your child's shoes are accounted for before leaving. Parents may observe classes the week of December 5th and May 7th. As classes fill, other instructors may be changed or added to our new family of dance. Classes will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
